The article is about food and healing with food on Wide Open Eyes. I go into more detail about what pictures I need in the post, but basically: food (fast food, healthy food), tea, vitamins, vegetables growing (and on the plate and every other way) and people eating all of the above. I need photography, traditional paintings or traditional paint + penwork.

It's a great opportunity for everyone involved and I need lots of pictures now and in the future, so if you know of friends who have work like this, link them here! I want to support the vastly numerous good, lesser known artists (like myself!) who can use the exposure.

<sup>I basically only give brief updates with features these days-- sorry!

I didn't mean to basically disappear after December of last year-- my computer's hard drive stopped working and for months I didn't have the means to get a new one. I have yet to get the old pictures on to my new drive... man, it would suck if I lost all of my old work. But anyway, a couple months after the drive went, I lost someone very close to me, and then I spent months (basically up until now) searching frantically for a new place to live. So the past half a year has been some sort of surreal dream where I was emotionally completely under water... hence the disappearance. I'm sure you guys can understand.

We just recently got a new place, though, so I finally feel like maybe I can get back on top of things</sup>

<sup>You can't tell with the pictures I've been posting recently, but I am exploring photography other than macro nowadays. I realized I sit in my comfort zone a lot with my art and I am trying to pull away, do stuff I'm not as good at, stuff I really need critiques on. Maybe I will not post pictures that are as good, but maybe I can post ones that are more meaningful.

I've been painting more digital and traditional art, so hopefully I will get around to posting that stuff too

I've also been posting each of my pictures as a print and I will do that from here on out wherever possible. I can't really explain leaning on DeviantArt so much for my art when I don't even take advantage of the opportunities it gives!

Just a quick note that I am probably going to overhaul my entire gallery and do crazy things like organize it. If everything looks weird and the categories are all messed up for a while, mah bad, and it will be fixed soon.

So, I haven't been on much, and I definitely haven't been paying much attention to my obligations here, but I swear it's for good reason--

I moved in with my boyfriend! I live about an hour away from my mom's house now, but I have the same job, so I now commute for about an hour and a half to two hours every weekday... ugh... That part sucks, and I am looking for a new job, but otherwise it has been awesome. Well, except for laundry. Laundry sucks, too (is it just me or do socks make it a point to get lost?).

Anyway, my life has been turned completely on its head and I'm having a tough time with my every day routine, so it's hard for me to focus on my art and bother going through everything to post it up here. I am trying to explore my new surroundings with my camera in tow, but every other aspect of going through Lightroom and stuff is just too much right now. So, I won't be posting much for a while, and then you guys will be completely inundated with all the new pictures I've taken of this place xD Hope you don't mind!

I do check my messages every day so this is still a good way to contact me if you need to.
